Organisation Energy
Organisational Energy represents a combination of the employee motivation and the effectiveness of the business processes. Low energy organisations typically are re-active, have low levels of morale but high levels of politics, deliver poor customer service, retain only the less competent employees, and struggle to deal with competition, growth and profitability. High-energy organisations on the other hand tend to have passionate, smart, fun-loving people who hate to come second. They are externally, rather than internally focussed, they are creative and passionate about customer service, competitive and successful. Above all they build organisations that generate both profits and sustainable growth.

As with Leadership Energy, we view every organisation as a dynamic system that can lose or gain energy over time, and that each organisation has a tendency to maintain a level of dynamic equilibrium. This level of dynamic equilibrium is determined by leadership energy and it’s ‘DNA’.

To establish the level of energy in an organisation we use our customised Quanta Organisational Energy Questionnaire. This is completed by employees and measures a full range of system inputs, processes and outputs.

On all projects Quanta generates full colour reports for departments, branches, divisions, regions and total company. The reports highlight energy levels, system strengths and weaknesses, by category and by question. This provides leaders with deep insights into where to focus.

The graphs below are extracts from an actual organisational energy report, showing the overall company energy level, a comparison with the market, and the Energy Transformation Index for the company highlighting strengths and areas of systemic weakness and energy loss.
